The Winter is officially here. The field has had some activity. In between the cold and the snow. We have had some 50 degree temperatures, and some members have ventured down to the field. During the last snow John Kvasic and Mark showed up at the field sporting skis on their planes. I was there. and we had a lot of fun. As far as I know Mike is going tohave the indoor flying down at Mount Loretto. I belive someone said that begins at the first of the year. We are going to have something different this year. Instead of only having one field safety officer, we are going to have several. We will have 4 field safety officers, that back up the main safety officer. These four are Mike Bolliak; Al Painter; Eugene Harrington; and, Bob Kostbar. Elliot Berelson has stepped down, from the position of head safety officer. Any one who wants that position please contact me. Also I have appointed the following qualifiers. Bob Kastbar; John Barenello; Walter Turner; Gene Gavin; Eugene Harrington; and, myself Dan Meraglia. Arky was the Libriaian last year, however his job and family commitments have taken precedence. Arky if you are reading this please contact myself or Tony Palazolla. Tim Golden will be the new Librarian I am happy to say that the turn out at the meetings have been better. I would like to see a few more members show up. Once again if you do not show up at the next meeting we will come and get you. If you do venture down to the field and join the hairy knuckle flying club. remember to always put safety first.
